Expedition is so incredibly worth it. Nobody talks about how you get a chance to fully reset your matchmaking which is extremely valuable. This means you get to enter EZ-mode lobbies with all of the knowledge you gained from your previous play throughs. So far in my experience every single raider has been friendly. The quests are easy and award extra value on top of what you make it out of raid with. Expedition requirements so far are the same as before, so you should know where the materials are, and the 5mill is easy enough to stack. People like to downplay how big 12 stash slots is but it's actually huge because it increases your total stash value for each expedition, permanently, making each subsequent one easier and easier.
