Dirge of Cerberus had fine gameplay, but introduces perhaps the worst, most nonsensical parts of the lore of ff7 that goes against the core of ff7 so much and near character assassinates Vincent, it should've been buried in a desert and forgotten. The fact that ff7 remakes have actually injected dirge plot points and characters in the main game has tainted it for me
