I haven't gotten to the Manga yet, and sadly Episode 12 has killed any desire to. I agree with you that the Momo arc of the episode comes across as a cheap shot which undermines my enjoyment of the series. Are they going to always return to a threatened SA to get engagement? If so, this story isn't worth the effort; it's just garbage. Part of what made the series compelling is the strength of Momo's character... But if it takes repeated SA's to demonstrate that strength, it's not something I'm willing to sit through. It's very weak storytelling.
