Gear 5 is perfect for the story that Oda has been trying to tell...It's also a great way for Oda to pay homage to classic cartoons that inspired him, which I agree aren't as prevalent as they used to be.

I feel like Leon is a safe bet, especially since he got a renewed interest after the remake of 4...Although I do have to say that I'm surprised the article says that Ethan got a "luke-warm reception", I thought he was a good character but I can admit his arc did go a bit off the rails with the big reveal in 8. I still enjoyed him in 7 and 8

I'm in the camp of hoping that RE9 is more like 7. Imo 7 was a near-perfect survival-horror experience and if it's not the best RE it's definitely close to the best...As good as Village is, the more action-oriented gameplay lowers all aspects of fear in the game.

If I was asked this before Village released, then I probably would have said that it's possible...imo Village shows the limitations of an open-world in a RE game, fast-travel would just make it worse

I'm hoping the statement made by Mackenyu wasn't just a simple case of him misspeaking...because this is exactly what I've been hoping from the Live-Action One Piece, for them to begin shooting Season 3 before Season 3 releases. It will help limit the age comparison of the main cast to the characters they play, and it will allow less "down-time" between seasons.

Considering there is so many arcs to adapt, I hope they will start working on S3 before S2 releases. Especially if they want to avoid the problem of the main cast getting older than the characters are supposed to be...I just really doubt that the whole series will get adapted into 25-30 seasons, as much as I love the Manga and Anime, I doubt Netflix will try to make it one of the longest running shows ever.

As an avid fan of everything horror, I hate to say that Parasite Eve wasn't on my radar when it first released (was too young to actively search for horror games) and I have yet to play it...Even though I've heard nothing but good things over the years, I'm keeping my expectations low, I would definitely buy a rerelease/remaster though.

Definitely an underrated game, I wouldn't mind seeing a remake for modern consoles...I remember playing it at launch and had a good time with it, I even went back to get the platinum trophy before I retired my PS3. While it wasn't on the same level as Devil May Cry or God of War, I think it could see some success nowadays (especially since it's original marketing budget was ridiculous and the reason it was never going to be "successful" to shareholders)

If Sony is really getting that many people complaining about the removal of the anniversary themes, then it should be obvious that they are leaving money on the table by not having any paid dynamic themes for the PS5

As much as I'd enjoy a Golden Abyss remaster, I'm not sure how likely it is since it relied so much on touchscreen and rear touchpad controls...

Tales of Hearts R and Muramasa Rebirth were great games that I think would be easier to remaster, everyone that didn't get a Vita missed out on those gems. Although I wasn't even aware of Phantasy Star Nova even being a thing, too bad it never got a Western localization, I definitely would have got it for my Vita. So I'll add that to the list of games that I think NEED remasters

Since it's listed for consoles, I'll be interested in seeing just how it plays...RTS games are notorious for not being very intuitive with controllers compared to KB+M so concessions are usually made. I know that Halo Wars has been a thing on Xbox, but it's just not the same as Starcraft or C&C

I may be in the minority, but I really miss the Drakengard games, I played all 3 and would jump on a Remaster/Modern Bundle...I'll never forget pre-ordering the original Drakengard and getting a demo disc that came with a trial of Drakengard AND Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. It's because of that, that I ended up getting into Star Ocean. Both are such great series' that you would never expect to come up in the same sentence lol

Not that it really matters, but I felt like it was a toss-up between Astro Bot and Metaphor:ReFantazio when the nominations were announced so I wasn't too surprised when Astro Bot won.

If he does manage to buy Hasbro, I see it going about as well as his purchase of Twitter (if not worse)...the people that actually support Hasbro/DnD will just drop it for another alternative that appeals to them. Just look at Critical Role, they have already began slowly moving beyond DnD, if Elon owns it I have a feeling CR (and their fans) will drop DnD immediately. Losing that many paying customers would do immense damage to Hasbro.
