Chris Had a guy try to sneak up on me as he heard me accessing a box outdoors on Dam yesterday. I had the angle to see him. He started firing but ran out of bullets by the time I started beating him to death with my pry tool and then I kept swinging for good measure. The little psycho on my shoulder came out and I didn't feel bad about it. 😜

Sad part is, there's no badge for downing a raider with the pry bar like there is Arc.

Glen I'm not saying they don't. I'm simply saying I haven't come across them. But then again I don't crossplay with Xbox users. 12 year olds don't typically play on PC.

Ja First, you sound salty AF. Second, I know I'm not the only one because I solo around these other players all the time. We even partner up to achieve the same brief causes, taking down ARC, saving each other's asses from ARC, healing when down, etc.

It's as simple as using your mic. The vast majority of people I encounter in solo play are pretty friendly. Do I get sniped at from across the map while walking across a rooftop? Sure on occasion. Do I get shot at coming around a corner, sure! Do I get exit griefed, by and large, no.

So yeah, my sample size is larger than one. It's many others I encounter that play very similar to how I do.

And if people bought Arc and didn't read the label that clearly reads PvP just as it does PvE, that's on them. They aren't victims, they're fools that don't read.

So go complain elsewhere that I didn't include you in my analysis.

Troy Easy really, for me. Single, no kids, upper level professional career managing people which means I generally don't want to deal with people at least some good chunks of my Friday evening thru Sunday. 🤣

I'm new to the genre. I caught the hype train and have nothing bad to say. I don't mind the grinding for materials because I'm used to that from other survival crafting games.

I stay away from Steam forums where the vast majority of people are there to just complain about PVP or PVE incessantly from day 1. They'll never be happy and cannot be reasoned with no matter the stance.

My experience has been very positive. I've got nearly 80 hours into the game. I've only been exit griefed once, while exiting us both and I still got everything I left with. I'm not rushing the gameplay at all and play solo. I've been killed and dabbled in a little PvP myself along the way. I've defibbed some and been healed by other random strangers. I do not share the same experience that the game has a toxic environment.

I feel you get what you put into it and if you don't subscribe to what everyone else is spewing and use your own lens, you'll find it's not as toxic or as bad as it's said to be. I know I'm not the only one that solos and dabbles in PvP only on occasion that feels this way.
