You do not quite understand the true meaning of petitions. It cannot force someone to give up their ideas or change someone's decision. The petition exists to demonstrate the will of the people, of the majority. To demonstrate the demand for certain goods, services or freedoms. That is, it does not work directly on itself. But its presence and growing commitment to it have significant consequences due to the community's rethinking of its rights and opportunities. And as a result, participants begin to look for solutions through joint efforts. What is actually happening now, out of sight, is laying the foundation for a redistribution of the market. The aforementioned radical group was simply used as a start, and they themselves have not yet understood what real consequences this will have for them. Because now everything they started fighting against will come out of the shadows and become free, and therefore available everywhere and for everyone. And then, when the price of the product drops to zero, history is written. This is how the business world works - in the long run, it will be very financially profitable for someone. And this game involves a lot of levels which makes me think we wount be able to prevent this recut of the market.
