Personally I think Square ENIX not including Final Fantasy characters for Kingdom Hearts 3 was honestly a disappointment and gave the game’s story a missing piece feeling. Having the Final Fantasy characters be integral to both Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2’s story and then not including them until Re:Mind was weird. It gave fans a feeling of “where the heck were you guys this whole time?” Feeling after all the help they provided previously. As Kingdom Hearts 4 comes around I do hope Square Enix decide on giving their Final Fantasy characters another role to play in the story, and hopefully add “The World Ends with You” characters again for the story (fingers crossed).
