Yeah, standing in front of the NPCs doesn't do anything, they don't actually pick up any eggs. You just have to have above a certain amount to win and if you don't then Abigail wins, the clip shows the gf had 9 eggs when the time ran out so she was guaranteed to win anyway. But only 1 person can win in multiplayer so it's funny if everyone else just messes with the NPCs.
