See AllSolo Leveling: The Controversial Change In Jinwoo Vs. Ant King Fight Explained
I've never genuinely hated a fandom until Solo Leveling got animated. It's been almost 10 years since I first laid eyes on the manhwa, and it was so good that I read the web novel. What they frequently fail to realize is that the majority of their complaints are over scenes and factors that are either different between the manhwa and web novel—with the anime being closer to the web novel sometimes—or they didn't exist in the web novel altogether. All of this whining as if a scene-for-scene adaption from the manhwa is the only faithful way to do it, from "fans" who often don't even know the web novel exists, and when they do acknowledge it, it's only to be like, "I guess ***MAYBE*** there could be a reason for those things 😤😤😤". It's like a competition to point out every single difference so they can flex how much they recall from reading the manhwa however long ago.
Worse than anything else, though, I hate that websites like this are churning out articles at the speed of light taking one random tweet or reddit comment to be like, "Solo Leveling fans SLAM adaptation for UNFAITHFUL portrayal of BELOVED manhwa 😭😭😭."
Give it a rest and stop giving these whiny, braindead losers a platform.
