I don't think ppl would be disappointed at all. The new trilogy is just about having a Girl boss NO ONE asked for and doing a major bait and switch early on in Gears 4...Where we are expecting the story to be a father and son story but instead was designed to be a Girl boss situation. And due to the horrible reception of Gears 5; that is WHY "E Day" is being released. I guarantee you this, had Gears5 done well; there would be NO "Eday"

This is what happens when you sacrifice the formula that made Gears popular in the 1st place in favor of a GIRLBOSS that NO ONE WANTED. And now that the sales of Gears 5 was abysmal...Coalition got desperate and decided to run back to Marcus/Dom. It's clear as day why this game is being made! I guarantee had Gears 5 performed well, that this "E Day" would NOT have been made and instead they would've created Gears 6...

Oh well, another franchise ruined 🤷
