At this point we should just let MK die in peace. Look at how low effort many stuff has become; two story resets back to back, lazy writing all over the place with multiverse shenanigans, time travel and everyone becoming a God or beating up Gods, DLC feast. Mortal Kombat is almost a glorified shovelware at this point
