Umm you'll have to recheck your facts or play the game... Followers can have items and you can make them the best weapons in the game enchant and put poison on. If you can actually play master difficulty and played other games they have made you'll know follows where always the best in the hardest difficulties because they don't scale to that level. So yes my Adoring fan can wear full bound armor with 100% spell resistance with rally buff and 1 tap anything in master mode. So again in every game they made followers where always the best it's just the player that has issues
