The drop in sales doesn't have much to do with the character, that's just a minor speculation, the main reason why alot of players, especially ones that play the game English dubbed, including myself is all the missing character voices, I was a whale spending 200-300 a month on genshin since geshin was my only gacha game, but since character voices started dropping i haven't been buying primos, lantern rite was a total bust with alot of original voices missing, and with the latest Tavelers Tales where npc's are dubbed but the main character in the mode are voiceless to me is just game breaking, and I know from the forums on Hoyo feel the same.. I haven't spent a dime on genshin since pulling C6 Mavuika, and to date I've spent over $6k on this game since 2020. Now I haven't played since lantern rite, and only log on to collect my daily welkin moon..
