$50 per year was the most I valued the service. Got at least one good free game a yr. Then they Raised it to $60.
Dropped them entirely. PS4 was my last product.
Moved to desktop and just set it up like a console. I Use wireless inputs and PS4 controller
Emulators, way easier to clean out dust, higher performance, upgradability, can mod games, titles are generally cheaper when sales hit, and FREE online services. Epic client gives out free games weekly (have 100+ games with half being good) but steam is the best way to play.

It's the End of an Era for the PS4
Not mentioned here but the PS5 had a critical design flaw for early models.
They switched to liquid metal to cool the apu but didn't have a proper retainer for it.
Reports came in from owners who had theirs vertical and had issues from it dripping off and causing havoc as it is electrically conductive.
If anyone is curious, thermal paste works just fine vs the metal. There's a fan curve that moves with the load.
This was demonstrated by a tech channel on YT.
Also, you have to be way more cautious tearing it down. If that stuff gets on anything it can cause a short.
