Hi Julia! Yeah, MHA was on the short list, as it is perfect for action or superhero fans. Since MHA targets the same audience as FMA, I ended up going with Black Lagoon instead, just to get something a bit different in.

Hi! Re:Zero is my favorite isekai of all time, so trust me, I'll take any opportunity to talk about it. I just felt "adventure" wasn't the greatest descriptor of its story. Still, I totally get it if you think it fits, as I went back and forth on whether to include it.

Yeah, I imagine that will be the case, and Where Winds Meet is great from what I played. The only game that I can maybe see doing similar numbers on Steam is Crimson Desert, although it is solely single-player, so it probably won't remain popular for as long as Where Winds Meet.

Meta1ingus Totally understandable. With all the games coming and going from subscription services these days, it can be exhausting to keep track of everything.

Hi, Dave! I'm mostly familiar with Wildlands, which is pretty fun. I've been meaning to give Breakpoint a deeper look, so it might be time. And, I totally agree with your point about enjoying less intensive games from time to time.

Hope I agree 100%! I put in about 60 hours into it last year, and had an absolute blast all the way through. Honestly, after Bloodborne, it might be my favorite action RPG (or, at least, it is up there)

Personally, Forspoken didn't fully click with me until the second set of spells was unlocked, as I felt that added an extra dimension to combat and even traversal that was missing before. The story gets a bit better as it goes along, too, in my opinion, but the gameplay was really the big thing that worked for me.

Also, yeah, Amalur is great. I enjoyed Re-Reckoning, but I have really fond memories of the original. I played it right after Dark Souls, and I credit those two games with getting me back into gaming after I had drifted away for a few years.

Hi, Andrew! Great note, I'll tweak Amalur's text to highlight Re-reckoning's side content a bit more. I was mostly thinking about the base content and core story, which took me about 30 hours or so.
