My question is: Why wouldn’t Sheva fit into Resident Evil: Requiem?

In her lore, it’s stated that after the events of RE5 she moved to America. An agent even recommended her to join the BSAA there, which would place her exactly in the area where Raccoon City used to be.

Also, in the trailer (minute 2:23–2:27) there’s a line: ‘Stay close’. The accent and the way the “S” rolls sound very much like Sheva.

I don’t want to raise false hopes, but purely from a lore perspective and with the voice in the trailer… doesn’t it make sense?
