I own 2 Elite Series 2 Core controllers. Both are Red. I never had an issue with stick drift. After about 1000 hours, the RB button became impossible to use. So I had the controller repaired. The second one is only a few weeks old. The first one I purchased direct from Xbox, the 2nd was purchased from Target.

I am part of the Alpha skip ahead insiders tier. This affected me yesterday. I have the 1TB Gen1 Xbox series x and a 1TB expansion card. Thankfully I did not lose my game library. No games were deleted. However Network settings and 4k TV calibration were lost and had to be reconfigured. For every game I launched I was greeted with the "Getting you game ready" pop up. Once each game launched, it had to sync my game files with the cloud.
