See AllWhy DayZ's Frostline DLC is Being Review-Bombed
I have played dayz daily since a few weeks into the mod I'm not a PvP chad as I live in NZ and most servers ping / population prevents me playing most high pop servers sakhal is ok but is just too cold for PvP players no sitting round sniping and the harsher survival makes it way more sos and the attempt to make choke points for PvP failed as it takes so much effort that players just avoid combat in high teir spots and only go for full PvP on the coast the ice sheets were a huge fail as there is no pois worth the effort which leads in to the fact that because of the cold and lack of inland water / fishing spots it is very limiting for players on the route they take also people speed loot so less people hanging around spots so you are always ahead or behind someone but no-one ever catches up to anyone as everyone is moving at the same max speed minimal loitering simple fix make it warmer on the coast and colder the higher you get this changes player speeds allowing more catch up crossover times and while I like the survival challenge even I get that a fire literally every 10 mins gets old real quick I like it but most cod style it's all about the kills players like pretty much every American just will go back to the 60 odd other free better balanced maps relatively quickly
