To me the biggest problems with zombies is that bugs would eat them in no time. They don't feel pain so they wouldn't be swatting the bugs. And bugs eat dead flesh all the time. So in a week or so they would all be bones. Flies find stuff to lay eggs on in hours. And in locations too cold for insects they would freeze solid. No body heat.
