I loved child of light, great game. Cyberpunk is an amazing game. Def top 10 for me. Witcher 3 would have been #1 for me, that is my fav game. I would choose fallout 3 over new Vegas but it wold of been higher on the list. Mass effect 2 is def the best in the series and deserves top 10. I have not played disco elysium yet but it's on my to do list. I have started planetscaoe torment multiple times but have not finished it but yes it is great.
Solo Leveling Is Anime Of The Year, But 1 Show Far Surpasses It In Quality
I absolutely loved Frieren so much that I watched it twice. It really left a lasting impression. Solo Leveling was a fun watch, and I enjoyed it, but I don’t feel any desire to go through it again. The story follows a familiar power fantasy trope that’s easy to follow and doesn’t really require much thought.
Frieren is much deeper. It explores what happens after the grand adventure — after you’ve become the overpowered character or part of a legendary hero party. It’s a quiet, introspective journey that reflects on memory, time, and human connection in a way that’s rare in anime. It doesn’t rely on spectacle but on emotion and subtlety.
I’ve noticed some of my friends couldn’t get into Frieren, and no offense to them, but they’re not exactly the most introspective or nuanced viewers. It’s not a show that hands everything to you — it asks you to slow down and really think and feel. And I respect that a lot but also understand it won't be everyone's cup of tea.
