Graham Ahh yeah that's fair enough. It'd be annoying to have bought all this stuff then have it not apply to the "new" game that is basically the same as one that's only 2 years old.

I don't understand the negative reviews. Copying someone else's game? Sure. Rereleasing the same game as a cash grab? Sure but the game is free. I'd judge the game on it's own personally.

OK I'll 'make sure' to have some free space on my PC. Oh wait I didn't ditch hard drive storage so I have 22TB of storage, I don't have to do anything.

SSDs are sure fast, but 20TB disks are just over $200 now, and when I bought my 18TB a few years back and a 4TB external before that, total cost was probably about $350.

I don't know what I'd do if SSDs were all that was left on the market and I was stuck paying like $100 a TB for storage (or maybe $30-50 a TB for a cheapy, but whatever random brand is not known for reliability and maybe it'll just croak if I write to it too much, or find out it's fake, or it'll just fail even without writing to it too much.).

They actually make dual, triple, quad, and quintuple layer BluRays. (I was surprised they went to that many layers, but...). 4K UHD Blurays typically hold 50-100GB. So in fact 86GB would fit on a single Bluray disc.

I wonder how hard it is to just flash a 'world' firmware on there? Or if there's perhaps a bit of extra hardware (like a jumper or solderd on resistor) so the 'stock' firmware goes Japanese-only if that is present? I mean, for me, it's a moot point, I'm sure it's also not possible to get it mailed outside of Japan, one would have to physically go to Japan to pick it up and I don't want a Switch 2 badly enough to do that.
