You kind of proved the point of Clair Obscure, they just dont make good games in the west anymore. And especially the action or rpg genres. Its when something like Metaphor, BG3 and Clair come along they break the charts with old and young players. Though Metaphor is really Japanese still and couldve been GotY it was that good. Most of the list is Japanese and old games, all of which are still great today if you can play them. Clair just proved that by doing everything right the gamers wanted in a game, and none of the devs had to give up who they are, or try to inject politics into it all from the real world. And I hope this team stays that way and wish them sucess.

To be honest was hyped for a few of these until I got to see the work done on them and the direction they went. Was really hoping the Blood of the Dawnwalker would be the best of 26 or 27 but its looking on the boring side of things, and figured it would be great coming from the guys who left CDPR, maybe they just need some time to flesh out better gameplay. And speaking of CDPR they super disappointed on the direction, all the bs they are putting in, and just doesnt even look anywhere near a step up from Witcher 3, and already turned me off from buying it on that alone. But you add in all the new devs and Mary Kenny and that pushes it over the edge bc all of her work has been trash activist stuff that ruined the game and that is enough for me to not buy a game with her or any of her shaved head army of crazy feminists. But maybe Gothic will turn out ok and playable. But like I said was wanting some of these and now I could careless. Unless they show something that changes my mind, but its highly unlikely at this stage of the development.

I say 4 or 5 million is all they get out of this long haul. They have become liberal propagandists, and the stories and characters all follow suit and very Ubisoft repetitive fluff a lot are using which those trends ruined Ubisoft. All the hateful stuff the devs have done and said over the yrs. The studio is full of these like minded individuals who now get away with whatever bc they control the companies and hardly any accountability takes place. Much like communication about what they are working on, the joy of making them, and it's pretty much become silent hate and a clip or them saying what beautiful emotional story of influence they made, cheesy and full of cringe and its trailers they finally put out. Nothing like the days of the old when the industry started and a dev or CEO communicating directly. I guess that's why all these new indie studios see more success today bc they make games that are just that, no cinema or let's go for my graphical click movie, and they tell you what is going on step by step and happy and excited for you to get a chance to play it.

Lol their charts lol and it could be ten copies in a region. Anyways retail isnt happy at the moment and not seeing 50k being moved, or 3k moved either. Since 6k refunded since the dev opened their mouth in hate quite a bit. Amazon and Walmart especially.

Yeah, nothing is touching Clair Obscure, and I love the New Mafia game. And had a few others this yr like Yukuza Pirate. But Clair Obscure wont be beat for a long while. Just glad to see game studios finally listening.

Why do you guys write to hype them up, its been another reboot of lies with this grand focus on an classics library and even teased some that hasnt came. But you make it sound if it worth having. I think Playstation is on the big decline thanks to the Jim Ryan Era, and even though he left, everyone he had in charge is still running it like dad. Steam and Nintendo are the only ones doing serious focus on the most important part, the software. Playstation promised faster titles by buying these studios, better quality that we all want, and single player until you guys say slow down. Well PS5 is over with and they put out the ones at launch, and the next yr and then big holes of nothing. Thankfully third party Asian titles saved the woke western bunch. And even what was left of Japan Studios made their best game of the generation. And here we are more woke cinema games and live service flops. Then PS6 and another PS plus reboot. I dont see anyone caring to buy a PS6 now.

Does Adam and Eric think this is what subscribers want when they say bring the classics? Or the day ones, they have grabbed one or two since this ps plus reboot. But you are seeing less and less with the PS plus logo in your friends list. And more are going to steam to play their online games and bc everything mainly is on steam now that PS4 probably gets used more than that next gen PS5 and there is nothing to make you feel good about keeping PS plus if your not that person who doesnt want to buy games, and doesnt care one bit on what these guys pick for you.All them price increases and the service got worse than it was despite the bullet points of nothing much to make it sound as if they are doing you a favor ripping you off. I remember Netflix tried this a few times and it backfired, but nothing to be excited and gamers even the renter ones have a breaking point. But being a Playstation fan when we thought sony and nintendo were teaming up, this is the worst generation and thats bad bc the ps3 was pretty rough and lacking playstation studio games. But this Jim/Herman era is a dumpster fire, and they have three times the manpower now.

I love both games, the online game sucks. This oblivion remastered a lot did want it, including me. But when I seen they changed little things to throw in liberal politics I canceled buying it. And glad I did bc after seeing even the character creation took a hit towards that, I was right not to support it. I bought Clair after seeing gameplay footage, I was worried to try it bc of French and Unisoft ex employees, but glad I did bc it blew Obilvion out of the water including the oroginal. Probably one of the best games made all around. And deffinitely the best in recent times and GOTY in my opinion.

250 bucks USD and tax and you get a cheap bunch of paper and plastic. You could get a used rice or flour sack and stencil in the Japanese writing. A 3d printer and you have the rest. And the remaining is paper. So they are making about 200 profit here, for something that wont even fetch a resell price later for being cheap and the game may or may not be worth playing but not one that will be a classic just based off of what was shown and the story of tracking down dudes with your girl boss on a 20 to 30 hr game.

Not many want a MMO Horizon so it wouldnt last very long on servers, big waste of money and resources for Sony if Playstation studios does this. Hermann is not a real CEO that knows what he is doing. JIM sucked but his boy Herman doesnt have a clue. Here it is almost summer and all thats for sure is a title from Asia we were picking up regardless if playstation helped it along. But all these online and MMO's they talked on will be flops. Didnt see anything the western side had that looked good.

I think they are desperate for any cash to be honest. Nothing they have done besides Astrobot has really panned out to be the greatest. With diminishing returns on most franchises bc of the DEI box checking. Or maybe after the last crummy sale they decided to have a real one for fans. But I highly doubt there is much there on sale if you look. I always noticed on plus and the storefront Sony has a plan to get you to spend more money and stop them from not making as much return. Like free games on the low tier rental is trash or games everyone has, saving them contract money per downloaded. The middle tier seems good but is missing good key games that the next tier gets. But the top tier is crap on its classic selection and will probably never get any better at this rate, but the tier still beats the middle despite the main draw being aweful and almost mirroring the ps3 store when they said they wanted to get a back catalog of their games only to pull the plug once it got good. But its a visiable push to upsell. And the store sales knock off the biggest on the oldest and most bought games. Meaning they make it dirt cheap but hardly anyone buys it. But will them take 5 to 10% off their price on one nobody has trying to get another sell out of it. And their games rarey see a good deal even 4 yrs out.

Once again a game writer trying to hype up and influence a bad game to the masses on their opinions or getting paid for it. You should be asking why Playstation studios doesnt have more first party games only on the PS5 at this point in its life cycle.

I cant say any tier is worth the price but yeah they want you to pay more for less. They really hope that even though the offerings are bad you forget about it and dont use it. Just keep paying it monthly, there will be another reboot again that will promise you better but will be less than this at one point. But you just got to get the new top tier bc it will slow roll all the games you want, but dont want to pay full price for. Its a mind trick to keep you waiting for next month, pretty old trick too, as cable tv started this in the late 70's. And companies have mastered you upgrading and waiting to see the next months offerings. Conjob but most will defend it until they see it and get tired of being ripped off.

Im pretty much done with Playstation studios, it seems to be just like Xbox, where studios go to die anymore. I would be excited for any new IP but the studios have all went liberal activists and the games have lost heart and the fun for liberal politics.

Nothing has really changed since they started pay walling the online play and the hackers able to hit the storefront making games downloadable for free. But its still the same over priced rental and sub par game subscription that promises to do better each reboot as people wake up and unsub from them. But each time it gets more expensive and you get less under the guise of all this fluff. But the classic library was the draw from the start, and each time its been the same games now and the psp,ps vita and ps3 storefront held and Eric and Dan are just slow rolling out those titles yet once again at three a month which would take 30 yrs to release those same classics they could just add at one time. Its never going to pick up any outside 3rd party games they dont have rights to without them spending money. Its a con job at the end of the day where these two CEO's keep a dept and jobs not really needed, bc a handful could get the job done.

Loved the original game, it sold well. I dont see the hype on another remaster that's not needed by Playstation studios when this has already been the worst software gen ever by Sony by far. They are working on PS6 launch titles and like the PS3 and Vita, your left feeling ripped off if not for 3rd party releases/exclusives which are that many really. Out of the thousands of older games gamers wanted, or at least Sony to get the rights back to rerelease stuff thats on a want list. They wasted time and money on remasters and live service not many wanted. Pretty sadly pushing everyone slowly away from the brand and into PC gaming. Which also sucks bc it plays into the devs hands of digital media for rent.
