I think rush is going to be a love interest/ henchman for Sophia. Basically What penguin was pretending to be apart from the love interest part. Rush He is obviously in love with her after saying to the Dr. In Arkham what if she is Innocent? He risks his job and possibly freedom to help her escape. Now you don't do something like that for someone unless you're in love with them

Since Sophia becomes the Head Of the family She'll need someone to be her right hand man that she can trust and rush will proably do alot of dirty work for her. And we already know how Sophia got called hangman because she got set up by her father after she discovered he is the hangman. Then what she did to that girl that was spying on Her for the Doctor While at Arkham asylum Helps to reinforce the idea that she's the hangman. And there's probably multiple times she had to do something like that.
