C sadly most players didn't like it, reviewers that aren't "users" aren't a viable review anymore

It didn't, it has a higher reviewer score cuz they are given copies for free, therefore their reviews are biased, the user reviews for digimon are higher than pokemon.
User reviews would be easier manipulated by pokemon players since the fan base is a LOT bigger than digimon, so if it really was worse the user reviews for digimon would be worse. But alas, it ain't.
If I were getting payed to review a pokemon game I'd probably also give it a good enough review as well bcs I wanna get that bag
