Star Trek: How A 1967 Production Memo Debunked a Long-Held TOS Fan Theory

Ok, cool that was the intention. But that's not what happened. I mean consistency is great, but all the different insignias lent a feeling of a more lived in world. Which is what's so cool about TOS. It felt like there was a universe outside the Enterprise.
