Who wrote this article? It’s wrong on so many levels, to get a rank on normal competitive you have to win 2 matches on the individual map and you will get your rank for that map. Yes you have to buy the game to open premier but you can’t play it straight away, you have to get a separate experience bar to 100% playing normal competitive (after level 1) and other modes like death match or arms race, the way cs2 gives you experience will mean it will actually take a few weeks before you have enough experience to play premier matchmaking which is hard work but it’s been done like that to deter hackers.
