There's definitely something to be said about selling a $200 controller without hall effect sticks lol.
I've had 2 standard Dualsense controllers develop stick drift within a year of being bought (the second one was a warranty replacement for the first). The midnight black Dualsense I bought as an extra along with my PS5 3.5 years ago, however, is still working like it's supposed to. It just seems like Sony's quality control is in the gutter.
