It's Been 30 Years And We Still Never Got A Sequel To The Best And Most Unlikely JRPG Team-Up Of All Time

I can tell most of the commenters here were never really interested in jrpg or else they would want a true sequel.. Or reboot. There was something very unique about SMRPG and having some of the best talent of the time work on it shown through. I enjoyed Paper Mario and the Mario+Luigi games but in my mind they were poor substitutions for the OG Mario RPG.

Not for me it was a good game but it was nothing like Mario RPG..

5 Influential Real-Time Strategy Games Worth Playing Just For Their Importance To The Genre

Played all of these, although at the time rise of nations never really felt as impactful, it was fun but I guess I didn't realize how different it was at the time.
