I just tried this scenario for the first time and when she got promoted from Ace Engineer she didn't become a Project Manager. She skipped some levels and went to the career branch choices. I assume that is from the Entrepreneurial trait she had. So I guess I'll start over at some point and hope that doesn't happen again.
