What about Min-Byung Gu from Solo Leveling? He re-entered the 4th raid of Jeju island while struggling with the trauma from the 3rd raid after watching his friend getting eaten by ants. He never wanted to fight, yet joined the raid with Baek Yoon-Ho, his closest friend, and died of decapitation via Beru (then the Ant King). If that wasn't enough, he got his head eaten by Beru. But the saddest part is that if Jin-woo had came from the beginning, he wouldn't have had to die.
