Also let's not forget that in the same chapter it was revelead that Xebec is the father of blackbeard and their families real name is Devy Jones. And that backbeard and his mother were part of the victims of the God Valley genocide. We know blackbeard survived but did his mother? Maybe her death fuels his anger against the government.

So once more we have big reveals for Shanks but at the same time for Blackbeard. It really feels like there will be a big fight between them coming soon.
