I’m not sure what the alternative would be, if every movie is the same tone and thematically similar that would get old. It’s a little early to say thats going to be a problem with a cohesive franchise. Gunn won’t be writing every single thing for every project, he’ll probably hire directors with talent in particular genres like horror. It’s an exciting plan, which won’t be without its challenges and some movies won’t be meant for everyone. That being said The Suicide Squad was pretty good and funny but rated R, and more will be like that too which is exciting.
