It might improve campaign and multiplayer versus. The graphics definitely look fantastic. But it just killed the custom games on release. I only still play WC3 for the custom maps and they are all busted... So they're running the risk of killing a whole community of gamers on their platform that only or mostly run those custom maps with whatever changes they've made. Skins are missing from custom maps (which doesn't make sense... How do skins go missing unless it's a money grab to make people pay for classic skins - which would garner more complaints then the 2020 release in my opinion).
