There are a few other symbols too, smaller ones that show up beneath the main ones like boons and such. There is one that looks like a hand pointing with an infinity symbol over the pointer finger knuckle, I believe that one is saying that there is something you need for a recipe you marked. There is also a symbol that looks like a page, and I think that one is for either something you need to finish a minor prophecy or it's for something that you havent discovered in the book thing, where it tells you who you've met and stuff. Those are the only ones I've found
