See AllMy Hero Academia: Horikoshi Confirms He Changed The Ending Of The Series, And Fans Are Upset
I haven't seen anybody actually mad about the suit, what even is this title? If anything, they're mad about the loss of OFA and the suit helped ease that sting. Wayyy more people were mad before the suit reveal, because imagine going the whole series for the worlds greatest hero to end as a teacher when his lifelong dream was to be a pro. It's the sign of a good author to be able to make changes and deviate from your original plan as it suits the story, rather than stubbornly sticking to an idea that might not work anymore as the story and themes evolve. Thematically its so much better to have Izuku still be a hero, that he was good as he was all along and he made himself a hero even without a quirk, and he is still just as capable even if he needs support aids... What message would that send otherwise, that say if someone were to lose a limb they had to settle and let go of their dream rather than use a prosthetic? That losing his power would undo his whole character that the series spent building up the whole time, that Izuku is inherently heroic and threw himself into danger to save Katsuki even when he was quirkless, that losing OFA would make him settle for less than his original dreams and aspirations? Idk man. Keeping him a teacher only instead of a teacher AND a hero would've been the weaker ending by far
