Suffice it to say that this is all opinion based. Apothecary Diaries is a good anime but it is in a different league from Solo Leveling as are the characters. They are different genres altogether for one thing and totally different in feel. AD is slow burn romance with some action scenes and mystery solving scattered in to keep the action fans going but SL is almost non stop action. They really can’t be compared. So, it’s all according to one’s taste. They’re both good anime’s but totally different and that’s good. Your opinion.

You are correct when you say it is chum. This is what they do to get fans to move on. The less devoted fans move on but the dyed in the wool ones wait and ignore the chum. Solo Leveling won’t be back till at least 2027 because all of the artists have been hired at other studios and the director is on another project. That’s what you get for not having faith in your work. I’m sure they are all kicking themselves right now but some may be called in for the live action show. Who knows at this point? This franchise has to get it right and not rush anything or it will be dead in the water and that would be a shame.
