I know it's an entry-level mobo and people have mixed reactions to almost every company out there, so I'm just a bit curious about why Gigabyte deserves your ire in particular.
The Best CPUs for Coding in 2024
The Ryzen 9 7900X3D is great for gaming but comes with a lower clock speed in tow and less thermal headroom for maneuverability to higher clocks than say the 7900X which might be a better choice for coding in particular (unless you are considering game development as your primary concern).
The 7900X3D (and the 7900X) comes with 12 Zen 4 cores which is 4 more larger cores than the 13700K which has 8 larger 'performance' cores and 8 smaller 'efficient' cores which are not directly comparable.
It is therefore not surprising that the 7900X3D pulls ahead in certain coding/workload benchmarks.
