I have watched the finale of Voyager multiple times and no matter how many times I watched it. It’s still does not make any sense. Moments before the end, they are in the Borg trans warp conduit. It is starting to crumble around them as admiral gene Way has already made her sacrifice. They are coming upon a pathway that is safe and will leave them back to the Delta quadrant while being pursued by a sphere they look at each other and then the next moment the sphere is flying out of the conduit in the alpha quad surrounded by the federation fleet. Then the sphere explodes and voyager comes out of the inside of it. Well, it is a cool image. It is never explained how in the hell they got inside the sphere in the first place. That was never mentioned in the plan ever so for them to look at each other and just be like we’re exactly where we expected to be a failure in writing.
