I missed maybe 7-8 of these, the rest I either played or know about (if I didn't play it's because they were hard to get in my region in Europe back in the day). So...not a very good list?

Here you go again with FF8 and junction system. FF8 was my first ever FF game and it wasn't as complex as you lead everyone to believe. Taking SeeD Tests was a chore, but that was about it. I agree on the FF12, Gambits were something that needed taking used to.

Amythist, I have never ever cast a magic spell in 8 from my stock. I always used the draw>cast, and cast them on some enemies (sleep, for instance), but only if I knew that worked. Otherwise it's a waste if you can just junction a magic to attack (elemental attack) and reduce the foes to dust. Junction system wasn't as confusing as the writer seems to say. The sphere grid of X was a mess IMHO, and yet, I do not see it in this list.

I suspected main souls entries are going to be so high. I do disagree with that, making a story obscured, and making player create their own around the settings, does not make it great, nor do I think there is an actual story to begin with... I never finished any of them because of that. I guess one can blame my favorism towards JRPGs.
