Ye its like dark souls it's ment to be hard. Its a realistic and brutal game that is as much a view on humanity and the hardships in life as well as being a game. Its grouded in reailisam or at leat the people are. Also you are a rookie in this world figuring it out is part of the fun.

Also if you are dying often the lean mechanics are very handy and the game forces you to use cover unlike alot of other survivle shorter, also headsets mater which can take some geting used to.

This isent to put people off I love the STALKER games and I would recommend giving them ago but If you want to have a good time with them you have to try and realy get involved in learning the games and how the world works the game won't hold your hand. I get that isent for everyone but it's not a reason to say the games to hard its just not the expectations you want and that's OK not all games are for everyone.
