Peach will get to become a pâtisserie in the 'Welcome to the Festival of Sweets' level in Princess Peach: Showtime. And like the first swordfighter stage, The Castle of Thorns, there are ten Sparkle Gems to find and collect. Unlocking them works slightly differently in this stage than some other ones due to the nature of Peach's transformation. This guide will show you how to get the Sparkle Gems so that you can get one step closer to 100% completion.

Sparkle Gem 1

After the door to the festival opens, a crow carrying sweets will bust through. Attack it before it flies off to acquire the first Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 2

Once you get through the gate into the next section, there will be several more birds carrying sweets. Defeat them, and the nearby chef will throw a Sparkle Gem out for Peach to take.

Sparkle Gem 3

In the section where you must attack the crops to make the corn and strawberries grow, jump on the boxes to the right to find a partially hidden Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 4, 5, 6

Now, to get the next batch of Sparkle Gems, you'll need to take part in a cookie-baking minigame. Peach will need to run from mixing bowl to mixing bowl and hit the action button repeatedly until the mixture starts popping out. Once done properly, carry the cookies to the moving carts to score points.

You must fill the meter in the background to earn three Sparkle Gems. If you mess up the cookies or take too long, you'll only get one or two gems and will have to repeat the level to get the rest.

Sparkle Gem 7

After the cookie-baking section, get through the next section with the moving cookie carts. Before going into the next door to start the cake minigame, stand under the lamp to the right of the door and press the ZL/ZR button on the Switch controller to enter a secret area. Use the mixing bowl and feed the NPCs to get a Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 8 & 9

To get the next two Sparkle Gems in 'Welcome to the Festival of Sweets,' you'll have to decorate a couple of cakes and follow the directions on the images to the best of your ability. Just like the cookie game, you'll need to fill the bar to get two Gems.

Don't worry, though --you don't need to be perfect to get the rewards. If you mess up a little, like we did on the last cake in the screenshot above, the game won't be too harsh on your score.

Sparkle Gem 10

Once you get to the end of the stage, you will need to pick up a giant cookie and carry it up the stairs to place it on the pedestal. Peach will get the last Sparkle Gem for completing the stage. Congrats!
