Princess Peach: Showtime may be a game aimed towards the younger crowd of gamers, but there are still some collectibles to find for the hardcore Nintendo fans. The first stage, The Castle of Thorns, has ten Sparkle Gems to find and collect. In this guide, we will show you how to snag them all and 100% the level.

This Sparkle Gem guide is based on the demo version of Princess Peach: Showtime. If this demo stage is different from the full version of the game, we'll be sure to update this guide accordingly.

Sparkle Gem 1

Towards the start of the level, you'll need to attack the three flower spotlights to open the door to the next area. You'll get a Sparkle Gem as a reward for completing this action.

Sparkle Gem 2

Help one of Peach's allies destroy the thorns, and you'll see the Sparkle Gem on the upper floor behind a bush. Run to the right and then go up the stairs to the left to snag this one.

Sparkle Gem 3

After helping the two swordfighters break the thorns to the entrance of the castle, go to the platform on the right and attack the two plants to make them grow. You'll get another Sparkle Gem for doing this.

Sparkle Gem 4

Once you get the swordfighter power, beat up the nearby enemies to uncover another Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 5

Destroy the large thorns in front of the door to the right to find another gem.

This next Sparkle Gem cannot be missed. You'll get it after fighting a group of enemies as swordfighter Peach.

Sparkle Gem 7

In the next section, you'll see some thorns and breakable boxes. Stand on the high platform behind the pair of blocks and press the ZL or ZR button to strike a pose. This will activate a mechanism and Peach will be taken to a different area. Defeat the enemies to find the seventh Sparkle Gem.

Sparkle Gem 8

You'll need to fight some enemies and then a large armored knight in the next area. You'll get a Sparkle Gem once the fight comes to an end.

Sparkle Gem 9

In the next section, you'll run around the edge of the castle and there will be a ton of enemies coming from all directions. Eventually, you'll reach a large thorn that needs to be defeated, but instead, head to the left and jump on the platforms to find the ninth gem.

Sparkle Gem 10

Defeat the final boss in The Castle of Thorns to get the final Sparkle Gem.
