How Cosmetic Items Work in Princess Peach: Showtime

Players will be able to check out the Sparkle Theater Lobby Shop as soon as they finish the first level in the game, The Castle of Thrones. At first, they will only have five dresses and seven ribbons at their disposal, but this number will quickly increase as they unlock more items.

Gamers can get access to more items in the Lobby Shop by completing certain in-game milestones, such as beating a boss or collecting a certain number of Sparkle Gems. However, they will have to trade coins for these cosmetics. They can try to find the Ribboner NPC in each level to unlock a bunch of dresses and ribbons, which will automatically be added to their Wardrobe for free.

Fans who want to 100% complete Princess Peach: Showtime will have to gather every dress and ribbon in the game, which means they will have to find the Ribboner, the Hide and Seek Theets, and all Sparkle Gem in every single play. On top of this, they must also participate and get a Gold Trophy in all the rehearsal levels.

Unfortunately, it's impossible to change a dress's color in Princess Peach: Showtime. Even though certain dresses have a different color pattern, most of them are pink, as it is Peach's iconic color.

Dresses and ribbons are purely cosmetic. Stella wears her ribbon all the time, but players won't be able to see Peach's dress once she has equipped one of her transformations.
