Power Rangers is one of the most popular American Tokusatsu superhero shows. The series has been running for several years and usually consists of a core team with several auxiliary Rangers. Many of these additional Rangers are usually colors outside the typical spectrum. Several of these characters are considered the most powerful of their respective version, but that isn't always the case. Certain Rangers, like Orion, might not be the most popular, but they are certainly among the most powerful.

The Lightspeed Silver Ranger is one of the most popular Rangers in the entire series. He is not only extremely powerful, but is one of the most iconic Rangers in the entire franchise. Silver Rangers might be few and far between compared to some of the more popular auxiliary colors, but every time they are included they are typically extremely interesting. Nonetheless, certain Silver Rangers are more gifted, and iconic, than others.

5 Orion's Super Megaforce Silver Ranger Has Access to the Powers of Every Previous Sixth Ranger

Power Rangers: Megaforce

Orion first joins the Megaforce Ranger during the second season of their less than popular iteration. Orion, like the other Megaforce Rangers, can call upon the powers of previous Rangers. He has the power of every other additional Ranger in the series, including Tommy Oliver's Green and White Rangers. Orion also regularly uses the power of previous Silver Rangers, like the Wild Force Lunar Wolf Ranger and the Silver Space Ranger. He might have considerably less battle experience than the other Rangers, but has access to some of the most powerful transformations and Zords in the entire franchise.

Green may have joined the Power Rangers as an extra member to the group, but quickly became one of the teams' core colors.

The alien Ranger also has the ability to become the Super Megaforce Gold Ranger. In this form, he has the power of every previous additional Ranger packed into a single suit. The visages of previous rangers are all marked along his body via their helmets. Moreover, his silver suit is now lined with a yellowish-gold. He maintains the more pirate appearance of the iteration, but feels somewhat out of place despite his clear level of power.

Orion also possesses the unique ability to combine his Ranger keys. However, he only does this with the extra RPM Rangers. Nonetheless, it's possible he could maintain the ability with similar forms. Sadly, this isn't fully utilized within the iteration which is somewhat common for the Power Rangers Megaforce version.

4 Tyzonn Joins the Overdrive Rangers as the Mercury Ranger After Being Freed From Corruption

Power Rangers: Operation Overdrive

Tyzonn

Tyzonn is one of the Overdrive Rangers' minor antagonists before eventually joining the Rangers as their sixth member. He is actually an alien from the planet Mercuria, which is somewhat common for the other Silver Rangers within the series. That said, he has access to some frighteningly strong abilities, even compared to his fellow Overdrive Rangers. Without a Morpher, he could transform his body into mercury, and manipulate the element to a tremendous degree.

The alien looks drastically different to the other Overdrive Rangers and even possesses a fin atop his helmet in addition to interesting shoulder pads. However, like the rest of his teammates, he can use the Defender Vest for a needed power-up. Most of his powers might come from his alien physiology, but that doesn't make him any less competent a Ranger. Sadly, he is a member of what is largely considered one of the least powerful iterations in the franchise.

The Blue Rangers are often some of the best supports on any given Power Rangers team, but some are far more popular (and better) than others.

As an alien, Tyzonn is somewhat unfamiliar with earthling life. He also begins the series as one of the Rangers' strongest adversaries. Yet, once he joined the Rangers, many fans found that he was consistently weaker than he was battling the team. Unfortunately, this is a somewhat common trope against evil-to-good Rangers and isn't solely restricted to Tyzonn. He consistently helps the team, but not with the same ferocity that he originally had in the series.

3 Zhane, The in Space Silver Ranger, is Often Described as Andros' Best Friend

Power Rangers: in Space

Zhane is the Silver Space Ranger and also Andros' best friend. He also briefly maintains the guise of the Silver Psycho Ranger to trap the remaining Psycho Rangers. He is one of the only people who truly understands the Red In-Space Ranger and often becomes his greatest confidant throughout the series. Zhane is also an extremely proficient martial artist, second only to The Power Rangers: In Space leader.

The character regularly provides needed comedic relief for the series, in addition to holding his own in battle. Silver Space Ranger is easily one of the most beloved members of the team and the only reason they continue to survive their iteration. He might not be the most powerful additional Ranger, but he is more than worth mentioning in a list of comparable Silver Rangers.

Unfortunately, Zhane doesn't make another appearance in any other iteration of the popular franchise. He might appear in some vision sequences, but he never makes a combative appearance as the Silver Space Ranger again. Orion regularly takes his form within the Megaforce series, but it would've been equally interesting to see Zhane actually make another appearance.

2 Merick Baliton's Wild Force Lunar Wolf Ranger Is One of the Most Iconic Characters in Power Rangers History

Power Rangers: Wild Force

Merick Baliton is another Ranger who begins the series as one of the Rangers' many adversaries. He is cursed by Master Org before the beginning of the series and immediately joins the Ranger after being freed. Once he joins the Ranger, he becomes The Wild Force Lunar Wolf Rangers, which is one of the longest-named and most powerful Rangers in the entire series. He might have a blue accent to his suit, but he is largely considered among the Silver Rangers, especially among fans.

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are the original and some of the most unique Rangers in the franchise's entire history.

Baliton has access to some of the coolest and most powerful Wildzords in the franchise and uses them to a profound degree. He also has access to many similar weapons to the Wild Force Rangers, in addition to gear of his own. Merick surprisingly continues to appear within Power Rangers iterations and continues to appear all the way up to the recent special Power Rangers Once and Always. He might not share the amount of appearances that Tommy Oliver does, but he is a known and loved part of the franchise.

Some fans argue that Merick is more powerful than Zen-Aku, but that is simply not the case. His org form might have some skills that don't translate to his Power Rangers form, but he doesn't have the same number of feats. That said, it would be cool if he had a somewhat more Zen-Aku-looking form similar to Tommy Oliver's original Green Ranger.

Power Rangers: Lightspeed Rescue

When it comes to Silver Rangers, Ryan Mitchell's Titanium Ranger is the most powerful and most popular. He is one of the series' main antagonists before joining the Rangers, like so many before and after him. He largely helps cement the criteria for additional Rangers and is consistently beloved among fans even today.

The Yellow Rangers are usually the glue which holds each Power Rangers team together, but some are clearly more talented than others.

As the Titanum Ranger, Mitchell has access to some truly frightening abilities. He is superhumanly strong, an expert martial artist, and possesses the ability to teleport. There is no question as to why he was initially such a difficult opponent for the Lighspeed Rangers. Thankfully, he uses the ability to assist them later on, but it never seems to have the same effect on his enemies.

Ryan Mitchell makes several reappearances throughout later appearances, but he never has the same level of sway among fans. He is remembered fondly for his role on the team, but a lot of that is based on nostalgia. Nonetheless, Mitchell is easily stronger than the other Lightspeed Rangers and is easily the strongest Silver Ranger in the entire franchise.
