Uniqlo is partnering up with the Pokemon Trading Card Game to produce a new line of shirts for the popular fashion retailer. The new collection features nine Pokemon TCG shirts for adults and eight for kids, including both T-shirts and sweatshirts.
Pokemon and Uniqlo have a history, as the retailer has previously sold shirts with Pokemon designs on them. That's far from the only partnership the Japanese retailer has had, though, as popular game franchises have partnered with Uniqlo for shirts based on Final Fantasy, Street Fighter, Tekken, and anime like Attack on Titan, Chainsaw Man, and the extensive Gundam franchise.

Now, Uniqlo is announcing a series of new shirts that are based off of Pokemon TCG and Pokemon TCG Pocket. For adults, five t-shirts and four sweatshirts have been announced, while the children's collection features four t-shirts and four sweatshirts. Some of the designs are available in both collections, but some are unique to their individual age group. The adult designs feature Pokemon like Gengar, Pikachu, Mewtwo, Snorlax, Slowpoke, Unown, Magikarp, Omanyte, Gardevoir. The kids' collection includes similar designs of Mewtwo and Pikachu, as well as unique designs featuring Mew, Mimikyu, Lapras, Lucario, Eevee, and Charizard.
Pokemon Trading Card Game x Uniqlo Shirt Collaboration Pricing and Availability
At the moment, these shirts have only been announced for Japanese Uniqlo locations starting in August, but they will likely be made available worldwide simultaneously or at a later date. The adults' shirts will retail for 1500 yen, or roughly $11, with sweatshirts going for 2990 yen, or about $21 USD. The kids' shirts are priced lower, at 990 yen (about $7) for a t-shirt or 1990 yen (about $14) for a sweatshirt. The Uniqlo collection will include sizes from XS to XXXXL.
Pokemon promotional tie-ins never seem to stop, giving fans of the franchise a never-ending supply of collectibles and garments to choose from. This is the second line of Pokemon clothing at Uniqlo set to arrive in 2025 so far, with the Pokemon Sketch Uniqlo collection having been announced earlier in the year. Of course, there are also numerous Pokemon clothing options available from The Pokemon Center and other retailers, as well, ensuring that fans have a wide variety to choose from. Some fans have also gone so far as to make their own clothing based off of Pokemon. There seems to be no shortage of fans who enjoy wearing their favorites on their sleeves - sometimes literally.
