Trading plays an important role in both the Pokemon trading card game and the video game series on which it is based. With this in mind, the fact that Pokemon TCG Pocket was released without trading was seen as a huge disappointment by many, particularly with how difficult it can be to collect every card as a free-to-play player.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Friend IDs
Sharing your Pokemon TCG Pocket Friend ID is a great way to get more Shop Tickets and open up more packs.
Thankfully, the mechanic was eventually added in January of 2025, giving players the chance to pick up any diamond or one star-rarity cards that they hadn't yet pulled. Ignoring all of the limitations and the ridiculously high price of admission, the following guide aims to help players find somebody to trade with in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
How to Find Somebody to Trade with in Pokemon TCG Pocket
Those looking to find somebody to trade with in Pokemon TCG Pocket can use the comments section at the bottom of this page. In order to keep things simple, please format your post like the example provided below, being sure to include your Friend ID, the card(s) you have available for trade, and the card(s) you need. Remember, the cards you put up for trade should be the same rarity as the ones that you need, so if you're chasing an ex card, you'll need to offer up an ex card of your own as part of the trade. It's a good idea to offer up a few different cards, as this increases the chances of potential trade partners needing one of them.
