Pokemon TCG Pocket players are enjoying the new quality of life improvements and features that were introduced in the latest update. The update is rolling out in preparation for the launch of Wisdom of Sea and Sky, the latest expansion for Pokemon TCG Pocket, and a new Trading feature update.

Although the game's release was very successful, Pokemon TCG Pocket was not in an ideal state, since Trading was one of the game's most criticized and poorly received features. After gauging feedback about the game's controversial Trade Tokens, The Pokemon Company decided that Trade Tokens will be discontinued with the July 30th Pokemon TCG Pocket update, and some notable features will streamline Trading going forward. Instead of Trade Tokens, Shinedust will be used to trade for certain types of cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket. In addition, players will be able to set up a Trading wishlist of up to 20 cards, which can be shared between players to see what cards they would like to potentially exchange. Before these Trading changes were implemented, a feature update began to roll out on the Google Play Store and iOS App Store pages for Pokemon TCG Pocket with some crucial updates that players have been asked for.

The Pokemon Reddit community is loving the new Pokemon TCG Pocket update so far, and players like rahimaer and Jamesbondradil are sharing their thoughts about some important shop changes. With the latest update, Pokemon TCG Pocket players can now purchase Wonder Hourglasses in bulk, and the pack point exchange shop will now display the number of cards that players own in the lineup. For example, if a player already has a few Hau and Flareon ex cards, the exact number of each card is displayed on the bottom left-hand corner of the card, allowing them to quickly browse and focus on cards they may not have.

Many players are praising developer DeNA for introducing these new Pokemon TCG Pocket features, and others hope that the game will continue to receive highly requested features. On the other hand, some fans would like to see the developers add a sell-back feature for cards, allowing them to gain a percentage of pack points for selling their cards back to the shop.

Players can test out these features and try out the revised Trading system with new cards from Pokemon TCG Pocket's Wisdom of Sea and Sky expansion on July 30. With Wisdom of Sea and Sky, players can encounter beloved Pokemon native to the Johto region, as seen in the Pokemon Gold and Silver games. These Pokemon include Chikorita, Cyndaquil and Totodile, as well as the Legendary Pokemon Lugia and Ho-Oh. What's more, Pokemon with attacks that don't require Energy will also be introduced, giving players more deck building and battling options.
