A new wave of Pokemon TCG Pocket leaks has been shared, and it reveals new information about two upcoming events. Pokemon TCG Pocket was released on October 30, and to celebrate the debut of the game developed by DeNA, some post-launch events were available during the first weeks.
In the first Pokemon TCG Pocket Wonder Pick event, players had the chance to collect Chansey and Meowth cards with a special mark. The same event gave away hourglass packs and special tickets, which players exchanged for themed items in a special in-game shop. Then, the game's first PvE event allowed players to collect a Lapras ex card and promotional cards for Pikachu, Butterfree, Cleifary, and Mankey. The third event ends on November 28 and is focused on rewards for players who participate in the game's PvP.
This time, new datamined information shared on Reddit sheds light on two events coming to the game. One of the leaks says that the PvE event featuring new Pokemon TCG Pocket promo cards will start on November 29 at 6 am UTC and end on December 13 at 5:59 am UTC. Similarly to the Lapras event, this one will focus on Solo Battles and its main reward will be a full art Venusaur card. The prize pool will also include Greninja, Haunter, Onix, and Jigglypuff cards. The expectation is that, once again, additional rewards will be hourglass packs and shop tickets.
Two New PvE Events on Their Way to Pokemon TCG Pocket
Venusaur PvE event
- Date: November 29 from 6 am UTC to December 13 5:59 am UTC
- Rewards: Venusaur (full art), Greninja, Haunter, Onix, and Jigglypuff promo cards
Wonder Pick event
- Date: December 6 from 6 am UCT to December 20 5:59 am UTC
- Rewards: Bulbasaur and Magnemite cards with special Chansey icon
- Other potential rewards: shop tickets and hourglass packs
The second leak reveals a new Wonder Pick event that will start on December 6 at 6 am UTC and end on December 20 at 5:59 am UTC. In this event, players will have the chance to grab Bulbasaur and Magnemite basic cards with shiny borders and a special Chansey icon. As with the previous event, according to the leak, the new event is expected to be divided into two parts. The first will give nine shop tickets, and the second will provide 24 tickets with which Pokemon TCG Pocket players can buy new Venusaur cosmetics.
These leaks have not been officially confirmed, and like a previous Pokemon TCG Pocket leak, they are subject to change. This one teased new events and content, including a Wonder Pick event featuring the Arcanine ex card. Meanwhile, the devs have officially confirmed that more cards are on their way to the game, although they haven't given any further details, and confirmed that the highly anticipated trading feature will be added to the game at some point.
