A new Pokemon TCG Pocket leak has teased Ultra Beasts as the theme of the next miniset. Pokemon TCG Pocket has brought out a variety of cards over the six months of its release through events and with the release of expansions and minisets.
The Pokemon TCG Pocket minisets have come out between the release of the main expansions, introducing a smaller number of cards. The first miniset was Mythical Island, themed around Mythical Pokemon such as Celebi and Mew, which got ex cards. It dropped in December 2024 and introduced 86 new cards. Triumphant Light, the Pokemon TCG Pocket miniset focused on Arceus, was released in February of this year and added 96 new cards. The most recent release is Shiny Revelry, which came out in March and features 111 new cards, including the first shiny Pokemon. This time, a leak indicates that the next set will be dedicated to another well-known group of pocket monsters.
Pokemon TCG Pocket Player Shares Powerful New Combo
A Pokemon TCG Pocket player shares a powerful 'hidden combo' between two cards, and explains how players can deal damage more reliably.
Centro Leaks has shared a new leak claiming that Ultra Beasts will be the theme of the next Pokemon TCG Pocket miniset. The leak also indicates that the miniset will be released on May 29, almost a month after the release of the Celestial Guardians expansion, which was added on April 30. It's important to note that the leak doesn't give any additional information about how many cards the miniset will have, whether the Ultra Beasts will be presented as some high rarity card, or even if there's a possibility of a new mechanic being added.
Rumor Says That Pokemon TCG Pocket May Get an Ultra Beasts-Themed Miniset
Ultra Beasts are a group of 11 extradimensional pocket monsters introduced with the release of Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon. In the games, the player receives the task of finding all the Ultra Beasts seen in Alola with the help of Wicke from the Aether Foundation and Looker from the International Police. As well as appearing in the games and the Pokemon anime, players can find Ultra Beasts cards. The first ones were released in 2017 as part of the Crimson Invasion expansion and have special interactions with specific attacks, abilities, and Trainer cards.
At the moment, the information shared by Centro Leaks is only speculation and should be considered with caution, as it may change until official confirmation from the developers. While players wait for an announcement from deNA or new leaks, 239 cards are up for grabs with the release of the Celestial Guardians set. Of this total, 155 can be obtained by opening booster packs, such as the first immersive Supporter cards, while 84 are secret cards.
