Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Mythical Island expansion added a series of new cards to the game, giving players new targets to hunt for when ripping packs, as well as numerous additions to incorporate into various deck builds for their battling purposes such as PvP and Step-Up Challenges. Vaporeon is one of the many cards added through the A1a Mythical Island set, and can be obtained through ripping mew packs, Wonder Picks, or with Pack Points.

Vaporeon is also a very decent card to consider when setting up a new deck, offering a solid option for Water Type builds. Vaporeon is a brilliant secondary Pokemon, as it synergizes well with certain Item/Supporter cards and makes them even more efficient through unique abilities, which can be used to create strong synergy and strategy with your ace. If you're looking for the best Vaporeon deck build in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, all relevant information including a complete card list has been included in the guide below.

Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket: All Currencies Explained (& How to Get Them)

There's a lot of currencies thrown at you once you start your card-collecting journey in Pokemon TCG Pocket --let's teach you what it all means.

Best Vaporeon Deck In Pokemon TCG Pocket, Explained

vaporeon

In Pokemon TCG Pocket, Vaporeon's greatest strength comes from the unique Wash Out ability, which enables you to move Water Energy from one of your Benched Pokemon to your Active Pokemon as often as you'd like during your turn. This essentially lets you dump extra energy onto your ace Pokemon, which can be extremely beneficial both if you're able to get them out quickly for a swift setup, and if you're slow to get them out on the field, as Wash Out enables a bit of catch up.

Aside from Wash Up, Vaporeon is also a sturdy enough Pokemon to knock out many first and second-stage cards with its 120 HP. While its 60 damage attack is a little inefficient at a 3 Energy cost, the ability to later rotate these Energy to a harder-hitting ace Pokemon more than makes up for this, meaning you don't lose or waste any energy across turns while you set your ace up.

Because of the abilities of Vaporeon, Articuno, and Articuno ex are the best cards to include alongside it. Articuno ex is a basic Pokemon and can be played as soon as you get it in your hand, has a solid 140 HP, and the Blizzard attack - which can deal damage to Benched enemy Pokemon as well as the active Pokemon. On the other hand, the regular Articuno card has 100 HP, and a 60-damage Ice Beam attack, which can also Paralyze the opponent's Active Pokemon on a successful coin flip. This makes regular Articuno a great lead Pokemon, as it can slow down your opponent's strategy and give you the opportunity to set up. Lastly, including important Trainer/Supporter cards such as Misty and Leaf ensures that this deck build is as Energy-efficient as possible as well as making rotations more viable.
